For MFP users who need to upload numerous scanned documents and want to standardize file naming, metadata, and the overall document imaging process, ParaDoc together with SmartFile is the best solution. With the SmartFile connector for ParaDM, hard copy documents are quickly converted into digital files to be stored in predefined folders within a ParaDoc repository. Document indexing based on site predefined values and folder content types are input at MFP using SmartFile. This enables the document to be sent directly to the specified location within ParaDoc for storage, where it is immediately available for retrieval by authorized ParaDoc users.
