Introduction

ParaScan is a scalable enterprise document capturing solution that converts paper-based documents to digital images. The ability to process large volume of paper documents in batches with user-defined process flow makes it suitable for medium to large enterprises. The batch processing involves separating batches of documents into various document types based on various separation techniques that include barcodes and pre-defined page numbers. Digitized images can be processed with Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology for automatic indexing or applied to entire image to be used for full-text search.

Facts of Advantages

  • Easy to learn and use
  • Flexible indexing
  • Full-text search based on entire document content
  • Unlimited scalability to handle any number of users
  • Speed up tedious indexing effort by zonal OCR
  • Further simplify process will full automation capabilities through the use of barcode
