Based on popular customer requests and benefited by the flexible architecture of the ParaDM product suite, several advanced applications and solutions are developed which can be purchased separately and readily deployed to enhance user productivity.

Email integration with DMS can facilitate the effective consolidation and organization of important business documents into a central repository for efficient archival, retrieval & management of information as well as easy integration with other IT systems. For MS Exchange users, this rule-based auto archival and integration solution allows auto archival of email based on user defined rules, conditions, and schedules etc. For example, correspondences with a specific client/supplier can be tracked and archived automatically. Similarly, correspondences related to a specific topic or project can be archived onto ParaDoc with predefined conditions automatically to form a central enterprise information repository.

This solution is designed to meet the specific requirements of several industries, e.g. architecture, engineering & construction (AEC), in project document  management, letter management, incoming/outgoing correspondence     management etc., with emphasis on access right control and efficient collaboration.

The solution can enforce & standardize project folder management practices and standardize project folder structure with definable type and subtype classifications. Access rights of project folders can be preset and controlled. Project team members will be granted correct access rights of documents according to their actual roles in a specific project. Project documents will be named and filed automatically with unique reference numbers generated compliant to the defined practices.

In addition to project document management functions, users can select to implement additional functions to facilitate
project management. E.g. incoming and outgoing correspondences through different communication channels can be fully logged and recorded to track project progress and prompt for users’ actions.This solution can be integrated with the workflow functions of ParaDM for customized project workflow automation.

This solution is ideal for remote office support to cache those frequently accessed documents locally so as to significantly reduce the wait time due to latency inherent to wide area network (WAN) traffic. Service can support multiple remote sites to provide LAN-like efficiency.

This solution can replicate and synchronize document content between remote sites at scheduled times. Ideal for remote document backup and enterprise content synchronization purpose. Require ParaDM Document Caching Service and the use of dedicated servers for this application.

For customers with in-house IT and programming resources, application development tools are available to help customers integrate the ParaDM systems with their IT systems. This allows flexible enterprise-wide access of the centralized document content of the ParaDM system and facilitates the easy integration of business processes to boost productivity. Data dictionary, API documentation, development guides etc. are available. Overview trainings as well as ParaDM professional services are also available on request.

This ParaDM solution supports the popular eCopy software for easy integration with MFD (multifunction device). Allow direct browsing of ParaDoc folder structure from the MFD user interface and save documents directly into ParaDoc’ s folder with appropriate indexing. Eliminate the tedious manual process of manipulating these steps on a client PC.

This solution provides the most robust protection of document content against security fraud or other causes of information leakage. Documents can be encrypted to many choices of symmetric key algorithms. Even in the unlikely case of theft of the physical server containing the protected data, it will take a supercomputer many years to decrypt the protected content. All documents uploaded to ParaDoc will go through the encryption process through the hardware security module (HSM) and similarly decrypted for downloads.

This server based OCR (optical character recognition) solution allows document images stored in the ParaDoc system in tiff or pdf formats to be content searchable for different languages.This significantly enhances the document management capabilities of the overall system. Scanned document images in legacy systems (in tiff or pdf) which could not be content-searched in the past can be uploaded to the ParaDoc system enhanced with this OCR capability to be keyword searchable. Document images (tiff or pdf) can simply be ‘dragged-and-dropped’ onto ParaDoc through browser or Web-DAV. And copier scanned document images uploaded to the enhanced ParaDoc system will also be content searchable.

For users employing SharePoint as enterprise collaboration and information sharing tool, the integration with ParaDM can facilitate the effective management of their enterprise content and provide users easy access to documents and other enterprise content with familiar user experiences. The SharePoint WebPart will call the Web Services of ParaDM for the required information feeding. The integration will use SharePoint WebPart to display different parts of ParaDM which include Message Inbox, Progress Monitor, Task Inbox, Search Channel.

This powerful server based viewer software supports over 400 document file formats. Users can view documents of different file formats without the application software installed at their client workstation/PC. Users can view on any client workstation and add annotations and comments etc. for effective collaboration. Support 2D-3D documents and different layers of information just as if viewing with the native client applications. Support zoom/pan/rotate and measurements on documents.
