Jeff, Project System Analyst

Jeff jointed ParaDM in June 2006 as an analyst programmer. Due to his excellent performance and driven working attitude, he was promoted to Project System Analyst in September 2006.

Current responsibilities
[Jeff] I monitor the project team's work status in China and develop technical documentation for the team. I also verify users' requirement gathered by the project team in Hong Kong in order to ensure our system can fulfill our customers' needs. Moreover, I am in charge of system customization resources estimation, quality assurance after the completion of project development, and any follow up issues with our customers after implementation.

Comments on ParaDM's environment
[Jeff] The culture is open. Everyone in the company is trying his/her best to complete every single task. There is no hierarchy or politics in the company. We can share our ideas and suggestions anytime. Also, the physical working environment is nice and comfortable.

Misconception about ParaDM
[Jeff] Many people thought ParaDM is a SI company. I think it is because our brand has yet to be recognized and therefore most are not aware that we are a company with a strong passion to build a great product.

The next step in your career
[Jeff] I want to participate in management work. The company is able to provide the opportunity - I can learn to be a manager from my current position.

Reason for joining ParaDM
[Jeff] ParaDM is a rare local technology companies that is solely focusing on their own product. I had heard of some successful cases on technology product development in the past, and I really hoped that one day I can be in a team to develop a successful product. However, the company (it was a US based technology company) that I worked for before was unable to offer such opportunity as it did not have any long term plan to develop an outstanding product.

Things you would tell your friends if they were to consider a career with ParaDM
[Jeff] I had just referred a friend to join. I would tell my friend that ParaDM is a determined product company, there are challenges but at the same time, there are chances to be success. I am sure we will get a big achievement if we all work together to develop our own technology product in ParaDM.
